Mystery Dinner Theater

Looking for a fun activity for your group or organization? Why not present a mystery dinner theater. Several years ago, a Mothers of Preschoolers group (MOPS) asked me to write a script. They wanted a fun Mops and Pops evening and wanted to do a mystery dinner.

There were many commercial mystery dinners available for purchase at the time, however these dinner mysteries could only involve 8-12 people. Plus, many on the market had questionable story lines that didn't show up until you were in the middle of the game. They asked if I could come up with another idea. And so, the mystery dinner theater was born.

While the scripts are not specifically Christian in nature, they contain no vile language, questionable situations or characters.

The entire evening runs about 2 hours depending on how quickly the dinner and dessert are served. A buffet is fine for this as well. You do need 6-8 actors who are willing to memorize and rehearse before the event.
