If we could summarize today with one word, it would be worship. A worship concert with 300 students, a worship time at Mahapawn Baan church’s prayer meeting, and a time of fellowship around the dinner table with some really wonderful food.
The worship concert was well received. All three churches, their members and pastors with their wives participated in this outreach. The students were really enjoying the music, ringing their bells along with “Jingle Bells” and “Sleigh Ride”, and playing hot potato and God is good (Christian version of rock, paper scissors). Pastor Attapon presented the real meaning of Christmas. The Gospel clearly was presented. We praise God for a wonderful morning celebrating our Savior’s birth. This was a huge encouragement to the Thailand believers and our IWs.
In the afternoon, we rehearsed with Bang, Pastor Sittichai’s wife for the upcoming Sunday 10:00 am worship service. We had prayer meeting at 6:00 pm, with Bang and the Herald Brass leading in worship song, sharing in testimony and praises, and prayers of thanksgiving to our Lord. This was a great evening of praying together in Thai and English with brothers and sisters.
We continue to have delicious food. We were taken out to a Thai restaurant that served a variety of flavorful dishes, including a fish dish that came with the head and tail. The head of the fish is a Thai delicacy, but not for any of us Americans. We sure are not going hungry on this missions trip.
A few important things to pray for. Please pray for health for the team. One team member is coming down with an ear infection and that will be painful to play with an ear infection. The enemy is hard at work. Please pray against the enemies attacks. Please pray spiritual warfare prayers and claim Christ’s victory over satan. Pray for rest for each team member. Please pray for the upcoming Christmas outreach at the Mahapawn Living Water Church, which is the “Mother Church”. They are expecting a full crowd where we might have people on two floors.
A huge thank you to each of you, for alll your prayer support and encouraging email notes that you are sending to us. We are encouraged and anticipate great things that God will do through us and the Thailand team. Thank you “Prayer Team”!!!!
