Pastors and Boats

PastorsandBoats1

As we started day five of our missions trip to Thailand, we were awaken with a beautiful sunrise out our balcony windows, we look over the city, realizing that there are many people who have never even heard about Jesus. They say what is Jesus, not even realizing that Jesus is not a thing but the Son of the one and only God, who created all things, including them. This creates an opportunity to share about Jesus to a population where there is less than a half of a percent who are Christians.

Our adventure today, was heading to the floating market, not by foot or van, but on a boat. This was a great experience to meet many people and interact with the culture. The Thai people are very friendly and we had time to shop at the different vendors along the way on the canal by the longboats.

We stopped along the way to taste different Thai foods. We drank coconut milk right out of the coconut that was cut open for us. Some of us also had Pad Thai with shrimp or chicken. It was really good eating.

To finish off our day, we met with the Pastors and wives, along with the International Workers, listening to their testimonies and taking time to pray for each of the families. This was a wonderful time to focus on the goodness of God in the lives of these families. We all went away, blessed being in the presence of God.

We thank you for praying for the Herald Brass team. Overall, everyone is doing well. No-one is sick but still adjusting from jet lag. Please pray for good nights of sleep for the team and continued protection from sickness. Tomorrow we are getting together for planning of the upcoming events, outreaches in the two neighborhoods and at the two schools. Please pray for our planning time together. Please see the upcoming schedule through Saturday. We appreciate your continued prayers. Blessings to each of you, our “Prayer Team.”
