The Herald Brass Team has played six different worship concerts in a variety of venues. We have played in the Sunday church services, Wednesday night prayer meeting, two schools (A Catholic School - by name only and A Christian School - not all students are Christian but just attend the school), Two Christmas Outreaches, and our last two worship concerts to come on Sunday morning at the Mahapawn Baan Paeo Church and Mahapawn Living Water Church.
The Christmas Outreach at Baan Bo Church was well attended. There were 64 children that registered plus their parents and grandparents as well. The church had games and activities for the children and families to participate in. There were many gifts given out to the families, including food at the end (Food consisted of chicken nuggets, french fries, and coconut ice cream made by a local food vendor). The Herald Brass played lots of music, including three songs that people sang with us as well. At the end of the Christmas Party, there was the Gospel message given by Pastor Attapon who is the church’s pastor. There was a lot of great connections and the response by the community was very positive.
Please pray for the seeds that have been planted and that this would lead to salvation in the lives of the people and the church would grow. Please pray for a building for the church to rent. They are out growing Ed and Sue’s home, where they meet at this time. Please pray for Sunday services. The Herald Brass will be doing two abbreviated worship concerts and Pastor Don will be preaching in the 10:00 am service and Pastor Doug will be preaching at the 2:30 pm services. Please pray for our debriefing meeting and our travel back to Bangkok on Sunday as well. Please pray ahead of time for our two 11 hour flights on Monday. We will arrive in Newark airport on Monday night at around 10:30 pm.
Again, we want to thank each of you who are on our “Prayer Team”. Your prayers have been answered and made a huge difference for the Kingdom of God. The lives of the Thailand team, churches, and people have been touched by your prayers, the Herald Brass, and especially by God in these past days. Blessings to each of you.
